Final Check In
Its the final week of the inquiry and I feel so accomplished. I am honestly a bit disappointed as well. Knowing I had to do an inquiry post every week made it much easier for me to hold myself accountable and show up to the gym every week. I am hoping that I don’t lose any of this motivation. I think they say it takes 60 days to build a habit and we are far past that, so hypothetically I should be fine. Hit all 6 workouts this week and no meals were missed! My goal for the inquiry project was to see how much lean muscle mass I could gain in a week. I planned on eating approximately 2576 calories every day give or take 200 every day. For the most part besides when I was sick, I did that. My starting weight as of January 8th was 137lbs. As of April 7th my weight is now unto 153pounds. Now I know some of that is fat, and water weight, but I can also see that I gained a lot of muscle as well. Its hard for me to accurately measure how much lean muscle mass I gained without doing some expensive body scanner, but I don’t feel like I need to do that. I am more happy with who I am as a person now. I feel like my energy is a lot more consistent, I feel happy, and I like the balance that working out and eating clean has added to my life. I am not always eating completely clean, that would just be irrational. But I’m eating clean foods far more than not, so I am happy about that. Overall I am thankful for this experience and I feel like I learnt a lot about both myself and how to use a website.
